Some spells, such as Queen Medusa (Snake Magic), give you a chance to Petrify a monster. To cast this spell, you'll need to play 4 cards enchanted with Queen Medusa to summon her.

A monster is Petrified when it turns to stone. A counter will appear above it, showing how long before the Petrifying effect wears off (see the example below).

Note: You can Petrify any monster of your choice. Smaller monsters, like the Evil Rat or Frog, are more likely to be petrified.
