Monster Souls 
are the rewards you receive upon defeating monsters in battle. They are vital for your progression in the game as you need to use Monster Souls to upgrade your Magician Level.
You'll find a Monster Souls counter in the top left-hand corner of the Map. It displays the number of Souls you currently own on the left and the needed total for the next level on the right. For instance, if you have 97 Souls and need 200 for Level 4, it'll appear as 97/200, as shown in the example below.
You receive Monster Souls for each battle you win. 
Below we'd like to share with you a few suggestions on how to get more Monster Souls.
1. Win a Soul Chest
Some Training Battles (battles with Stars shown below) give out Soul Chests as additional rewards. Don't miss out on these battles and the chances to gain a huge amount of Monster Souls! 
Just so you know, the number of Stars you see in the preview reveals the difficulty of the battle. If you don't spot any Soul Chests, play a few more battles to increase your chances of seeing one pop up!

2. Win Wizard Stadium battles (available from Quest 1.7)
Winning battles in the Wizard Stadium (available from Quest 1.7) is the quickest way to get lots of Monster Souls.
📍You can find the Wizard Stadium next to the clock tower of the Classroom (Owl School).

3. Upgrading your Magic Cards/ Artifacts
Each Card/ Artifact upgrade gives you some Monster Souls.
