Magic Exams (available after Quest 1.8.3) appear periodically in battles you see on the map (also known as "training battles").

The purple ribbon below a battle reveals a Magic Exam is available in this battle.

Every time you play a training battle, some battles on the map are refreshed. When a battle is refreshed, there's a chance it comes with a Magic Exam.

If you don't see any battles with a Magic Exam on the map, don't fret - play more battles first. A battle with a Magic Exam will appear a bit later! 🎓
